Essential Functions :

  • Develop reports that convey issues and Resolutions
  • Identify gaps within existing systems including Planning, Maintenance and operational activities.
  • Evaluate breakdown or malfunctions and provide feedback on corrective actions for our current planning and Maintenance systems.
  • Use SAP, Power BI and Honeywell to extract data.
  • Review Condition Monitoring reports to identify opportunities to improve Equipment.
  • Review Downtime data and make recommendations to improve Reliability.
  • Review condition monitoring results to best optimize the Maintenance strategy to help extend component life and assist scheduling.

Education and/or Experience :

Work Conditions :

  • Work is performed in a Concentrate Dewatering and Ship loading Facility, with exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electric shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles.
  • While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to Field work, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, see and work in confined spaces provide Coaching and supervision to Activities and holding meetings.

2. Dewatering Plant – Engineering, DWP & Pipeline Electrical Engineer

Essential Functions :

  • Confer with engineers, end users, and other parties to discuss existing or potential engineering or improvement projects for the processing plant.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, departments, and company installations/sites to provide technical support and recommendations during various stages of project implementation and for plant improvement.
  • Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding Instrumentation and Control Systems during the various stages of a project such as: Feasibility Study, Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering
  • Design, implement, and improve electrical facilities and systems for a mining processing site.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the EI teams, resolving technical issues/conflicts and ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Familiar in computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
  • Lead and coordinate installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities related to the electrical and instrumentation discipline, to ensure compliance with international specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction and installation standards and specifications.
  • Understand and implement methodologies and procedures to apply principles and best practices of electrical theory to engineering projects and existing installations.
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work area instructions, participates in safety and environmental activities, and uses plant and equipment correctly.
  • Support the company during the review, revise and create of company discipline (instrumentation and controls) SOP.

  • Oversee project construction efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Interpreting P&ID Drawings, review/checking loop diagrams, schematics, or other field instrumentation drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, regulations, and safety guidelines (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, IEC, ISA) for existing and new equipment installed on plant.

3. Geoengineering – Engineer Mine Closure & Surface Geotechnical #4

  • Deadline 19 April 2024

The key duties and responsibility of this position are :

  • Maintain and improve section safety performance by enforcing and following company standards to meet PT Freeport Indonesia safety and Environmental programs standards to meet PT Freeport Indonesia safety and Environmental programs.
  • Analyze seismic monitoring data to indicate ground response and seismic related hazards to ensure the safety of underground facilities, access, and production areas.
  • Update database system for geotechnical data/information and reports/recommendation so the database is accessible and preservable.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly report for reviewing from senior engineers/Superintendent.
  • Develop his skills and knowledge to go along with new technology and methods to improve the service to clients and cope with new project and case study in block cave mining.
  • Intense coordination with Organization Leader/direct supervisor for client requirement.
  • Review seiswatch parameter related GBC, DOZ, DMLZ, KL, BG mining activity and trigger rate activity including GBC-Pit Interaction (with seismic distribution).
  • Provide DOZ-DMLZ, KL, BG & GBC seismic update notification for blasting and update status of seismic protocol, update GBC seismic event rate at Middle access concern area.
  • Review Firefly lighting system for DMLZ and GBC production area.
  • Review seismic condition outside & inside cave lines or caving GBC, DOZ, DMLZ, KL and database seismic closure and hydrofract closure time, the performance of the seismic activity rate tracker.
  • Review the exclusion zone & exclusion times into working places after production blasts for GBC, DMLZ and KL.
  • Re-assess the required configuration, the sensitivity, the location accuracy of seismic network & the suitability of currently employed sensors.
  • Review Seismic Moment Tensor Inversion (SMTI) GBC, DMLZ DOZ, KL & BG Mines- analysis for Mw>0.5, PPV analysis related mining (blasting) impact to facilities accommodation.
  • Review monitoring system function and availability monitoring devices per area concern (Main Road, Mill, Townsite).
  • Monitor & analyze trend of deformation of radar (SSR & IBIS) at Operation Support area (Amole, West Gully & MLA area), GPS Orion at Main Road, Townsite, & Operation Support area (Mill, GBT, Magazine, Orica), rock fence sensor (Panorama), extensometer (Tomawin 484) & Tilt beams sensor (MP73 Tower 280), conducting pre-checklist data.
  • Monitor & analyze trend of deformation of GMS at Main Road & Townsite area (MP 73.5 & Ex-Sion) and conducting pre-checklist GMS.
  • Review system troubleshoot related to monitoring device connection, software upgrade and license (SSR Radar, IBIS Radar, GMS & GPS).
  • Monitor & analyze TARP of rainfall station for road access closure (MLA Portal & Conveyor 71), TARP at Uteki river & Magazine – Orica area, & emergency townsite river inspection.
  • Monitor & analyze FLIR (River monitoring) and CCTV (Amole & ASB area).
  • Update & analyze trend of deformation of 3D vector deformation GPS data,
  • Evaluate alarm & any issue on radar data, review system health check & availability monitoring devices for all Grasberg monitoring system, review system troubleshoot related to monitoring device connection, software upgrade and license (SSR Radar, IBIS Radar, Extensometer, Prism & GPS), and review all inventory of monitoring device (Radar, RTS and Prism) – in the case for replacement or calibration.
  • Review daily monitoring Grasberg – Wanagon area and apply TARP on Grasberg concern area (which associated to geotechnical hazard, rainfall, and Grasberg-GBC Interaction).
  • Undertake collaboration on data analysis & interpretation with Geotech Surface related to safely mining at WWSS-Wanagon and Grasberg Pit-GBC Interaction (Yapen & GBC PB1, PB2, PB3).
  • Inform Grasberg concern area and recommendation from monitoring data to Grasberg Geotech.
  • Review radar position & ensure fully coverage at Grasberg – Wanagon, especially active mining area (WWSS-Wanagon & GRS-GBC Subsidence and analyze prism data re-measurement & manual measurement at Peak 3 & Lower Wanagon area from Grasberg Geotech.

The key challenges in this position include :

  • Large coverage area and complex geotechnical hazard of the UG Mines, Regional Highland-Lowland, and Surface geotechnical issue.
  • Coordinate in effective way to communicate with various type of PTFI Stakeholders/Divisions.
  • Discover the most effective way in influencing or convincing others to follow and implement the TARP, in-depth analysis, and geotechnical recommendation.

4. GSC/ Purchasing/ Warehousing – Chief Engineer, Contracts # 1B

  • Deadline 29 April 2024

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are :

  • Coordinate with user clients and directly negotiate terms, conditions, rates and PTFI provided support functions with relevant parties (e.g. contractors, end user department, etc.) under responsibility to ensure the satisfactory of end user within determined plan, on schedule, allocated budget and high quality.
  • Prepare contract document and issue selected tender packages for medium value and risk contracts based on required services and guidelines through inviting potential contractors/vendors in order to solicit for work proposals (tenders) for specific services with regard to required performance and fair value.
  • Analyze and assess risk for new incoming contract works assigned by superior to ensure that all incoming contract works can be delivered in a timely manner.
  • Perform analysis of tenders for medium value and risk contracts under his responsibility to ensure that upcoming specified services carried out by contractors match the quality requirements and cost constraints attached to the service.
  • Analyze medium risk contractors and contracts’ necessary requirement under his responsibility to ensure its compliance with government requirements with regard to licenses and tax matters.
  • Provide input and recommendation on medium value and risk contractor selection and placement to superior, to obtain the best decision, fair value, and minimize the risk to the company according to the Company policy and procedures.
